VACUUM BAG SEALANT TAPE

BRIPOL-100B is Black Colored Low Temp. Sealant Tape specially formulated for use in Vacuum Bag Molding processes. It forms an air-tight seal between vacuum bag film and the molding Tool surface. It is compatible with a wide variety of film types and tool surfaces of aluminum, steel, fiberglass, nickel and graphite etc. It is stable upto 110ºC temperature for 72 hours application. It strips easily and cleanly from the tool surfaces after cure cycle.

Properties:

It is self fusing & non-conductive. It does not contain Asbestos and is free from Solvents. It is pressure sensitive. With pressure it fills minor irregularities in the mold surface. Mold surface to be applied must be clean, dry and free of dust and oil etc. Apply by hand to a clean dry mold surface with release paper on top. When the sealant Tape is in position, remove the release paper and lay the vacuum bag film over it. Apply pressure by hand / roller on the vacuum bag film to obtain maximum adhesion and to ensure positive vacuum. After the cure process it will strip cleanly from the tool / mould surface.

This is an extruded Tape in Roll form extruded on Silicone Coated Release Paper. It is available in size of 12mm width, 3.0mm Thickness & 16 Meters Length. Other sizes can be manufactured on specific order
